Re: Call for Proposals for the Transformational Teaching & Learning Conference

I am excited to invite you to participate in the first Transformational Teaching & Learning Conference to be held in the Memorial Student Center this spring, April 17 & 18.

Over the last few months, a committee of Texas A&M faculty, a team of motivated student leaders, many instructional consultants and other professionals from Instructional Technology Services and the Center for Teaching Excellence, and I have designed this event to showcase and promote the culture of teaching excellence on our campus. Our hope is that the event will serve to encourage dialogue, stimulate interest, and cultivate innovation.

With a variety of session formats available, two exciting keynote addresses by two experts for the 2018 conference theme "Student-Centered Innovation," and a Student-Faculty Dialogue event within the conference, this promises to be a unique opportunity to learn and network with colleagues.

Please take some time to explore the conference website http://ttlc.tamu.edu, where we will provide news about the conference as it becomes available. Also, I encourage you to read the call for proposals (PDF) and the associated proposal review rubric (PDF) in their entirety as you consider how you might both contribute to and benefit from the event.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at ttlc@tamu.edu.
