Antonio
Cepeda-Benito was appointed Associate Dean of Faculties on
February 1, 2006. He serves in this capacity 90% time. He
is a professor in the Psychology Department. Dr. Cepeda-Benito
is the primary liaison regarding all faculty policies and
procedures. In addition, he serves as the risk management
advisor for academic affairs and will be handling all faculty
ombudsperson and grievance issues received in the Dean of
Faculties office. He will also interface on faculty development
and retention programs and coordinate all faculty written
guidelines issued by the office. Dr. Cepeda-Benito will participate
in all Department Head development programs and make information
about the processes administered through the Office of the
Dean of Faculties readily accessible and highly informative.
He will also act as the liaison between departments and colleges
and the Office of the Dean of Faculties.
