International Research Travel Assistance Grant Program

This competitive program, administered through the Office of International Coordination, distributes an average of $750 each fall and spring to an average of 13 faculty members for reimbursement of travel expenses incurred while conducting research or scholarly collaborative work outside the United States. Priority is given to proposals that (1) involve collaboration both at Texas A&M and an international institution, and (2) have the potential to attract additional external funds. No funding is provided strictly to attend a conference or symposium. Requests for proposals are distributed each September and January. For more information, contact the Office of International Coordination, Mail Stop 4251, telephone 845-6066, or e-mail ama@ipo.tamu.edu.
